15. WALKING

Our Problem
is the problem of guessing
since we do not talk.

You, of course,
have my poems.
I am left with walks,

long walks by myself
for diversion.

What if on my walks I got lost
or obtained conversion
and was unable
to find my way home?

Then I'd lose my poems.

30. VILLAGE

Do you still want to call me brother?

I rain on you fire.
I scorch you in the heat of attack.

It is less than plain
why anyone would wipe out someone
in the name of love.

If I destroy your village
do I save it?

Did you want to move?
