Body vs. Soul

Our bodies know their needs
and proceed to fill them.
The greatest pleasures for them
are performing systems.
The danger is a tendency to anger.
They love to stage
huge uncontrolled billowings
of rage.

Not so our souls.
Without even knowing their needs,
they remain intent
totally on what knowledge is given,
first to unfold and develop
the recognition
of whatever they have duly received:
a totally different ambition.
