Energy

Energy abounds inside us.
Some say it’s light,
but I say dark energy as well.

With pulse of blood
and muscle memory to guide us,
we proceed
toward always unspecified goals.

We wish for a day without rain
or that rain will fall…
while ignoring
our deepest felt needs.

Our refusal to address exacts a toll.
The message of energy:
Take time.
