Hunting

I’ve been known to hunt for my glasses
with my glasses on;

to seek my phone
when I am talking on it;

can’t find my keys
because they hang in the door.

What forgetting’s for,
I simply have no idea,

still I know it’s poor
behavior to seek more what I have

or forget it’s there:
failing to appreciate love,
thus, to seek elsewhere.
