Thanks and Praise

Beauty is expression of thanks
by all creation
for the variety and profusion of life;

the overflow
of energy and the urgent upswelling
of that force that flows

from the center of the earth,
rushing outward.

Free and unbound,
it’s the ripe self-expression
of life
and, of course, life’s ending.

Most of all, give praise.
