Elegance

Elegance is the base of creation
and can be expressed
in mathematical equations.

It is there in poems, precise descriptions
of a bird in flight
and the delicate nod of a blossom after summer rain.

The list goes on,
and is sometimes captured in a hymn:
"I rest me in the thought
of rocks and trees, of skies and seas."
