Sex-ized and Ostracized

I don’t support breast-groping or grabbing cunt,
don’t want daughters or wives subjected
to such behavior;

but neither do I wish constantly to be on display
as a potential groper…
that inhibits trusting relations among the sexes.

But men are also constantly abused
by the unending display of sex
by ads, by movies, by song
as the road to success.

There was a time
when at work the breasts were not partially bared,
no stiletto heels
to make calves and legs more sexy,

short skirts and the crossing of legs
and the constant drum of ads based on nothing,
but sex.

What is advocated, if it is not active pursuit of sex?

If women want men to change,
they, too, must change
the constant barrage of “come on” our society practices,
both men and women alike.
