Trust II

Trust is a railroad trestle
above a stream.
where trains are not regularly scheduled.

It can be a useful shortcut,
if you don’t look down,
but you must listen for a whistle

or, perhaps, a roar;
keep watch for a column of smoke,
check the ties for tremble.

Unfortunately, you can neither turn back,
nor can you run.
There is only one possible solution:

you’ll have to jump.
