If the threat of police doesn’t work,
there is always Hell
with brimstone and eternal damnation.

Even if you love him,
make sure he doesn’t hear it from you.
Rather, wish him dead
and make sure you say it in his hearing.

Never give a word of approval,
lest it build up pride.
Say, instead, you are ashamed
and do it often.

If you can't send your son off to war,
do the next best thing:
disown him
and give him to God.

Make him God's own son.

This will lead to crucifixion
and, of course, that’s good.
Put your trust in resurrection.
Know that God is love.
