Frustration
Nothing about it is right:
tempo or song;
the loudspeaker’s out of kilter.
Is it possible to get us some light?
Even timing’s wrong.
Sound, it seems, is in-need-of a filter.
Electric cords too long
or, otherwise, not long enough.
Perhaps we should just give up,
find a closet, hide;
or, finally,
make fun of ourselves,
try some silly clowning.
Then, if not too tired or wired,
night almost gone:
take a break, make coffee,
walk around
and, with light, push on.
