The Untrained

It is sad to see a person of age
who has not learned
through experience 
the damage rage can inflict
on all those near 
who were not the cause; 

who, was never taught
the use of quietly waiting 
to reduce the stress
while seeking out positive options,
so flies into rage,
unnecessarily inflicting damage. 

At seventy, but only three years old, 
neither potty trained,
nor grown out of childish tantrums,
he stays awake 
just to paint his own shit 
on the wall. 

His art may stink, but it carries its message 
quite well.
