Fitting In

The beautiful thing about nature:
each part fits in.
If a particular factor changes,
it just adjusts.

Time often is of the essence
for change is long
and individual existence
but a song:

noise on the wind,
watercolor in the rain
that melts and runs;
what once was fun,

is now not fun any longer;
so must adjust
as nature does in time:
the cruelest cut.
