Like being Stillborn

What would it be like
to be returned before you remember,
or simply can’t
since it’s evident you
weren’t born alive?

Were you ever able to sense things
while in the womb,
a partially developed body?
Did you have any sense of perception,
even as you grew?

Could you feel the pressure
of the womb?
Hear internal sounds
of your mother’s body and songs
even as she rocked?

Ever feel a sense of being loved
before finally succumbing
to a short lived past:
no recollection
and no birth pains?
