Night and the Window

Night at the window of my room
turns light back to light,
night back to night,
reversing my face,
making it a shadow,
darkness to the night.

Night, itself collected mirrors,
crowds to the window
as mirrored light,
its face masked with my reflection,
its shadows covered
with light.

Light reflecting from shadows
adds shadows to the night,
and rain
falling dark on the face of night
streaks my face and reflection
with light.
