What About Creativity

You can’t account for creativity,
nor can you trust it.
There are times
when it requires coddling and TLC;
But other times: disapproval.

All you may get is nothing:
a sheet of paper
with random scribbles.
But when poems come,
like Tommy Tucker’s thumb,
it’s something special.
