Strange Attraction

What has happened you don’t really know.
Dark consciousness
simply bleeds through;
new thoughts, old wants now projected,
but with urgency out of the blue.

All else is left unattended.

Choice must be made
with regard to noticed compulsions.
No reason. No explanation.
The point at this point unknown
and will remain so. if
and until decided.

You’re required to act on your own,
not knowing why
beyond irrational compunction:
no reasons given,
until, by acting, you choose to own
decisions and actions you take
you know are completely your own

and, so make known
precisely what you’ve chosen to do,
and by actions taken,
have publicly announced who you are
and will be,
both now and in the future.
