To a Selfish Destroyer of Trees

Trees truly know how to hate:
if older, better.

Old trees could curse before man
even knew of weather.

Moreover, their curse is communal.
Trees pray together.

When you hear them rustle in breeze,
get on your knees.

Betraying trees,  
you betray our Creator God.

Even dark-skinned pagans knew better!
